Located near scenic attractions, the ryokan is a charming piece of history with beautiful artwork and a friendly and hospitable staff. The spacious rooms offer beautiful views and have traditional elements in their design.
While the accommodations are filled with charm, there are some areas that could use attention. The bathrooms, although clean, could use some renovation.

Tokudo-san took very good care of us. When we asked for a recommendation for dinner, he not only recommended a very good place to eat, but he took us there and helped us to order since there was no English menu (the place was called Zen). We enjoyed our whole experience at Seikiro. It was very comfortable and pleasant.

The proximity to local attractions and the nearest bus stop were great. The garden was a lovely touch and the public area was cozy. Although the room was small and basic, the bathroom was clean and the service was friendly. The breakfast options were limited but sufficient.
The communal bathing area was not very comfortable or private.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to ferry/bus. The inn was quite cozy except for the uneven temperature throughout. Breakfasts were delicious and very fairly priced.
The insulation was not good. Rooms are heated but not the hall way.

Warm welcome and comfortable room with beautiful views. The traditional breakfast was delicious and filling. Location was convenient with pick up and drop off at the railway station.
Some facilities showed signs of wear and tear, which affected our experience. Public hot spring bath was small and changing space was cold.

We had an incredible stay at this place! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and their English was excellent. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a stunning view of the garden. We were also impressed by the historical artifacts and decorations throughout the hotel, which added to the overall charm. In terms of location, this place is conveniently close to a shopping center, where we found some great dining options. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service, which made getting around easy and convenient. The amenities in the room, such as the free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV, were a nice touch and made our stay even more comfortable.
We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
